On the last Saturday of each month, LSC invites the public to immerse themselves in Angolan oral culture. Young and old, sitting around the centuries-old baobab tree, in the open air, in the LSC's backyard, listen to stories from the Angolan oral tradition, told by the writer José Luís Mendonça.
On August 31st, from 6pm to 7pm, the Luanda Science Center will hold the fourth edition of “Estórias no Imbondeiro”.
This event, dedicated to promoting Angolan oral tradition, will feature the narration of five new stories, including works by Ondjaki and Óscar Ribas, as well as a video mapping projection that connects tradition to new technologies.
The “Estórias no Imbondeiro” sessions are open to the public of all ages. For reservations, interested parties must register by email at estorias@ccl.ao, in person at the Luanda Science Center reception or contact 934 399 897.
