According to the director, they currently have "payroll execution at around 60 percent". In other words, in an interview with Televisão Pública de Angola (TPA), he explained that 60 percent of workers have been receiving their salaries since Thursday and that all payments will be processed by next Monday.
Regarding the delay in salaries, he explained that it is not related to "computer attacks or failures", but rather to a "significant time lag" in the revenue received.
"People start to say that it is late when we are not yet in time for the payment of salaries, also because of the period that has passed since the past in which the payment was made", he said in statements to TPA.
On the occasion, he assured that the Ministry of Finance is committed to working hard to ensure that all workers receive their salaries by the end of this week.
Furthermore, Marlon Lima also said that it is necessary to rectify this situation both economically and financially, in order to avoid repetitions of this kind, showing himself to be aware of the negative impacts that delays in salary payments have on family life.
