Ivan Cavaleiro, currently playing for French side Lille, represented the Portuguese 'AA' team on two occasions, both in 2014, under the 'hand' of Paulo Bento, after having played for the Portuguese under-17, under-18, under-19, under-20 and under-21.

Angola is in second place in the group, with eight points, behind leader Ghana, which has nine, while the Central African Republic is in third place, with seven, and Madagascar is last, with two and no longer able to qualify.
For the final phase of CAN2023, which will take place between January and February 2024, in Côte d'Ivoire, the first two from each group will qualify, with the exception of the host country's group (Group H), in which there is only one place in dispute, as the Ivorians already have a guaranteed place.
