João Lourenço makes a three-day visit to the south of the country

The President of the Republic starts, this Wednesday, a three-day visit to the south of the country, where he will work in the provinces of Huíla and Cunene.

According to Luís Fernando, secretary of the President of the Republic for Institutional Communication and Press Affairs, the head of state's work day will start in Huíla.

"Wednesday and part of the day on Thursday will be reserved for the province of Huíla, with part of Thursday and Friday the mission will be carried out in Cunene", explained the official.

In Huíla, where he will work in the city of Lubango, the head of state will meet with the local government this Wednesday afternoon. Still in this province, his agenda also foresees the opening of the fair "which will show the potential of each of the 164 municipalities" in the country.

"President João Lourenço's Program in Lubango in brief: Wednesday, in the afternoon, meeting with the government of the province of Huíla. The following day, Thursday, municipal forum and opening of the fair that will show the potential of each 164 municipalities that make up our country", informed Luís Fernando.

In Cunene, adds the official, the President of the Republic "will make contact, fundamentally, with projects of the Ministry of Energy and Water" linked to the "great challenge" that is for the State "to face the drought and its harmful effects for the economy and for the daily life of the people".
