National Bank of Angola revokes license of non-banking financial institutions

The central bank revoked the license of three non-banking financial institutions, due to their inactivity for a period exceeding six months and repeated non-compliance with the rules governing their activity.

According to a statement from the National Bank of Angola (BNA), the licenses of Mundifast Transfer-Sociedade Prestadora de Serviço de Pagamento, Daniela Maxinde Transfer-Sociedade Prestadora de Serviço de Pagamento, and Calimina Transfer-Sociedade Prestadora de Serviço de Pagamento were revoked.

By deliberation of the executive committee, of the 14th of this month, the companies are considered dissolved, and must be liquidated in accordance with the judicial procedures generally applicable to commercial companies, advances the BNA.

The note also announces the revocation of the license of Renaro-Casa de Câmbios to carry out the activity of remittances, due to the repeated failure to report information.
