Within the scope of the project - which aims to help in a scientific response to obstacles linked to pedagogical activity, create new knowledge, raise the quality of teachers, among others - Jorge Chaves, head of the Department of Scientific Research, Entrepreneurship, Innovation and Postgraduate Studies at ISCED-Huíla, revealed that each cycle is estimated to train 30 people.
Speaking to Angop, the official said that the initiative will grow in collaboration with several universities, with emphasis on the Portuguese institution (University of Aveiro).
He also informed that the first edition will last three years and that a program of 3600 hours will be carried out, of which 780 hours will be devoted to compulsory teaching work and 2130 hours will be for research work, writes Angop.
Cited by Angop, he also explained that the project also foresees the composition of educational teams, that is, a professor from the Portuguese university and one from ISCED-Huíla, to share experiences.
The official said that the doctorate will be paid, but did not advance the price of tuition fees, having clarified that those interested in attending the course need to fulfill some requirements, including having a degree or master's degree in educational sciences or in other areas, among other conditions.
The official also considered that this course "comes at the right time", since the institution has acquired experience with the realization of several editions of masters, with favorable results, writes Angop.
