Amount traded on Bodiva increased by more than 60 percent in August

In August, the amount traded on the Angolan Debt and Stock Exchange (Bodiva) increased by more than 60 percent. Compared to the same period last year, the volume of negotiations grew by 64 percent, to 298.9 billion kwanzas, as a result of the execution of a total of 375 deals.

The figures, which are part of an operational report disseminated by the entity and quoted by Jornal de Angola, also point out that negotiations in July were around 81.14 billion kwanzas, reflecting a growth of around 70 percent compared to August.

The document also reports that around 870.5 billion kwanzas were handled by Bodiva in the last eight months, writes Jornal de Angola.

It should also be noted that in June the volume of negotiations was 73.8 billion kwanzas.

The month with the lowest amount negotiated was February: negotiations settled at around 35.3 billion kwanzas, according to Jornal de Angola.
