"AkiPaga", mobile money service arrives in Angola

The country has, as of this Wednesday, a mobile money service. Named AkiPaga, the service was launched in Luanda by Kwattel Serviços de Pagamentos S.A.


In a statement, quoted by the newspaper Mercado, the company explains that the application is intended to help with financial inclusion.

Among the various benefits offered by AkiPaga, it is worth mentioning that citizens can deposit and withdraw money without having to go to a bank or ATM, they can make transfers, pay bills and services and make top-ups and purchases in various parts of the country.

Kwattel says that this service aims to simplify people's daily lives, creating mobile payment solutions for everyone.

According to the statement, Mobile Money is revolutionizing countries such as Japan, Kenya and South Africa, and the entry into Angola represents an important milestone.
