According to a statement from the Luanda Provincial Office, this action is part of the office's plan of activities and aims to "ensure the permanent assessment of the situation of former combatants and veterans of the motherland, improve their control, mobilize the finance sector for the pension increase.
The statement also reports that the process will run for 30 days.
"Regularly, the office has carried out actions for its assisted, in order to minimize social problems, as well as to ensure protection in education and vocational training," the statement said.
The agency controls about 25 thousand pensioners, among which are ex-combatants, disabled people, widows, and war orphans.
In addition to these actions, the office continues to support the creation of cooperatives linked to the agricultural sector, in order to economically reintegrate the ex-combatants.
"In parallel to this, another prospective action was the creation of eight cooperatives of former combatants and disabled war veterans for their socio-economic reintegration, widows and orphans, including the cooperative Agro-Pecuária Veteranos da Pátria S. A , the Kudissanga Kuanangola Muyta de Katalagombe S.C.R.L Agro-livestock and Fishing Cooperative, the Ramiros S.C.R.L Artisanal Fishing Cooperative, the Nguengue and Kalumbo Agro-livestock and Fishing Cooperative, the ACIPSV R. L, the Agricultural Productive Cooperative of ACIPSV R.L, the Agro-Industry and Fishing-Mukweze Cooperative ACIPSV R.L and the Agro-Livestock Cooperative of Ascofa that will continue to be supported under the projects of the central and local organs of the State", advances the note.
