Thus, the now judge-counselor president of the TC will replace Manuel Aragão, according to a note posted on Facebook by the Presidency.
The statement reports that Laurinda Cardoso was, in another decree, relieved of the post of Secretary of State for Territorial Administration: "Note that in another presidential decree also dated today [Thursday], the now Judge President of the Constitutional Court was previously relieved of the post of Secretary of State for Territorial Administration.
It will be recalled that Manuel Aragão, appointed to the position in November 2017, presented his wish to cease functions.
