Head of State authorizes expenditure for consulting oil concessionaire

The head of state authorized an expenditure of $14.6 million for the purchase of consulting services to evaluate the petroleum potential in the free areas and exploration zones.

:

In a presidential order, it is stated that inland basins are excluded from the assessment of the petroleum potential and that the consulting service will be in force for a period of three years.

The Angolan Head of State formalized in the same document the opening of a Limited Tender by Previous Qualification for the acquisition of consulting services, delegating to the agency's Administration Council the competence, with the faculty to sub-delegate, for the approval of the tender's parts, the nomination of the Evaluation Commission and the extension of the contract's term.

In another order, the Angolan President authorized the expenditure of $288,750 for the acquisition of consulting services, with a view to implementing the 'Google Workspace Enterprise', to improve the operation of the National Agency of Oil, Gas and Biofuels.

The expenditure was authorized considering that the full functioning of the National Agency of Oil, Gas and Fuels requires the creation of the necessary conditions for its operationalization.

Besides the oil sector, João Lourenço, in other dispatches, also authorized additional credits for the operation of the Attorney General's Office (PGR) and the Supreme Court.

One of the presidential decrees authorizes an additional credit of 6.8 billion kwanzas to meet the capital expenses of the PGR.

This credit, for the current year, should be made available according to payment needs and cash availability, the document states.

In another presidential decree, the opening of an additional supplementary credit of the same amount is also approved, for the capital expenses of the Supreme Court, in the economic year of the current year, which should be made available according to payment needs and cash availability.
