Sonangol extends deadline for partial divestiture of oil block stakes

Sonangol, the state-owned oil company, has extended until the 20th of this month the virtual sessions of exposition of its oil concessions, as part of the process of partial alienation of its participatory interests in some oil blocks.

:

According to a statement from the company, the extension is due to the high adhesion by companies interested in this alienation process.

The national oil company also said that due to this situation, the deadline for submitting proposals had also been extended until September 20.

Sonangol will sell part of the participating interests in eight oil blocks, safeguarding the right of preference of current partners, as part of the strategy to review and optimize its portfolio of exploration and production assets, aiming to conclude the process by the end of this year.
