Angola has kept its borders closed since 20 March, but has authorized cargo and repatriation flights.
According to information provided by the Consulate of Portugal in Angola, a TAP flight will be operated on the Luanda-Lisbon route, on August 14, at 10:45 pm.
Six flights by the carrier TAAG are also planned on the same route, on 11, 13, 18, 20, 25 and 27, all at 11:30 am.
Reservations, information and any ticket changes must be sent to TAP or TAAG, the Consulate said.
According to the new rules on the situation of public calamity, Angolans or foreign residents returning to Angola, will have to perform a test up to 72 hours before departure, with a negative result, and will be able to comply with home quarantine, provided they sign a term of responsibility. and prove to be able to observe physical distance.
Non-resident foreigners, who also carry a negative pre-shipment test, will have to comply with institutional quarantine.
Violation of the home quarantine is subject to criminal liability and sanctioned with a fine between 150 and 200 thousand kwanzas.
Entrances and exits from Angolan territory are subject to sanitary control by the competent authorities and provide for the following special situations: return to Angola of resident nationals and foreigners, trips by foreigners to the respective countries, official trips, entry and exit of cargo, postal merchandise and parcels, humanitarian aid, medical emergencies, technical scales, entry and exit of diplomatic and consular personnel, entry of foreign specialists to carry out specific tasks, transfer of corpses, provided the cause of death is not covid-19.
