"We had no methodological orientation for the practitioners of this activity and it wasn't based on science either", said Silvia Lutucuta.
The Health portfolio holder underlined that the development of the practice of complementary traditional medicine in the National Health System contributes to obtain better results in health, optimizing and consolidating its role and guaranteeing care with effectiveness, safety and quality.
In 2018, the Professional Chamber of Traditional Medicine Therapists in Angola advocated the approval of a legal diploma, since about 61,000 practitioners were practicing without any regulations.
