The holder of the Energy portfolio also said that, in addition to this 400 kilowatt line, other similar lines will be built that will continue the country's electrification.

The Laúca dam has not yet reached its full power supply capacity, so the ministry continues to outline ways to take advantage of its maximum capacity. It is recalled that the operation started in June 2019.

However, one of the conditions for the installation of these lines that cross provinces is landmines. The demining in the Laúca electrification project is in charge of a commission led by Faustina Alves, minister of Social Action, Family and Promotion of Women.

Cited by Angop, the minister reiterated the importance of this process, not only for the electrical supply but also for the construction of railroad lines, optimal fiber, roads, ducts, etc.
