Most expensive foreign exchange currencies sold at Banco Yetu and most competitive at Kwanza Invest

Yetu was the bank operating this Thursday, August 13th, with the highest exchange rates of the national bank.

According to Jornal de Angola, the bank sold the dollar at 642,880 kwanzas and the euro at 766,105 kwanzas.

In the sale of the American currency, the bank was then preceded by the Banco de Crédito do Sul (BCS), which sold each dollar at 638,099 kwanzas and by Banco Caixa Geral Angola (BCGA), which traded the foreign currency at 619,313 kwanzas.

With regard to the offer of the euro, Finibanco Angola followed the Yetu, selling the European currency at 757,071 kwanzas and again the BCS, where the sale took place at an exchange rate of 752,638 kwanzas.

On the opposite side are the banks Kwanza Invest (BKI), Millennium Atlântico (ATL), Prestígio and Banco Sol, which traded their currencies at more competitive exchange rates. This Thursday BKI sold the dollar below 600 kwanzas, more precisely at 595,700 kwanzas.

The ATL traded the same currency at 601,541 kwanzas and the Prestige at 607,381 kwanzas, an order that was partially repeated in the sale of the euro, passed at 700,842 kwanzas at BKI and 707,130 at ATL, with the Sun selling at 714,733 kwanzas , refers the same publication

Also according to the analysis, the highest exchange rate on the sale of the dollar was 7.92 percent higher than the lowest and 4.74 percent higher than the bank average of 613.775 kwanzas.

With regard to the euro, the ratio was 9.31 and 5.19 percent, with an average of 726,370 kwanzas.

Jornal de Angola states that these differences in exchange rates may allow savings of up to 1200 euros per year to be made to people who make monthly transfers of family aid abroad of the same amount.
