Quoted by Angop, the minister said that the event is considered an economic showcase both nationally and internationally, which leads the Executive to encourage mass participation by all economic operators, who will be able to carry out commercial transactions and establish business partnerships.

According to Rui Miguêns, in this 39th edition, exhibitors and visitors will have "a big surprise within the program prepared for an event of this size and with very suggestive themes".

At the launch, it was up to the Secretary of State for Commerce and Services, Augusta Fortes, to present a "detailed outline of the FILDA 2024 program".

On the occasion, according to a statement from the Special Economic Zone (ZEE) Luanda-Bengo, to which VerAngola had access, the outline presented highlights several activities that will take place in the conference rooms, as well as "the important agreements that will be signed at the throughout the event".

The Secretary of State also highlighted that the event will be "a stage for innovation and launches, providing a dynamic environment full of news".

Among the moments that stand out in the program, according to Augusta Fortes, are two forums. According to the secretary, cited by Angop, these are the Angola-Portugal Forum, where Luís Montenegro, Prime Minister of Portugal, will participate, and also the Macau Forum with Portuguese-speaking countries, in which two agreements will be signed – one with the Institute of Industrial Development and Innovation and the other will be signed between the Industrial Association of Angola and the Business Confederation of Portugal.

Who also spoke at the launch of the fair was Bruno Albernaz, president of the Board of Directors (PCA) of Eventos Arena, who informed that more than 10 countries have already confirmed their participation in the event, hoping to surpass the 1300 companies present at the last edition.

The PCA of Eventos Arena, cited by Angop, assured that public transport companies will provide specific routes from the city center and other areas to the fair site.

From the 23rd to the 28th of July, the Special Economic Zone (ZEE) will be the stage for the 39th edition of FILDA. Organized in conjunction with the company Eventos Arena, the fair will feature two food courts; "diversified entertainment for all ages; brand and major product launches, highlighting market innovations and three conference rooms, equipped to host forums, workshops and presentations", says the ZEE statement.
