According to Angop, the event, announced this Tuesday by Vicente Soares, at a press conference, will take place between the 24th and 26th of this month, during the Luanda International Fair (Filda).

The 15th Meeting of Businessmen for Economic and Commercial Cooperation between the Community of Portuguese Speaking Countries (CPLP) and China expects the participation of 300 people, of which 230 are Angolans and 90 from China and Macau.

Vicente Soares said that the meeting aims to find business opportunities with Chinese investors and those from CPLP countries.

According to the person responsible, in addition to Portugal and Brazil, it is important that companies from other CPLP member states have access to financing.

For the third time, Angola will host the meeting that has been held since 2005, on a rotating basis and annually, in the countries of the Portuguese-speaking community.

The project for negotiation and cooperation between businesspeople is part of the Cooperation Protocol between Trade Promotion Bodies, Chambers of Commerce of Mainland China, the various Portuguese-speaking countries and Macau, signed in 2003.
