"I wanted to do so, narrating the examples of resistance and struggle of direct family members and the various stages I went through, as the São Nicolau prison, in Bentiaba, in this province, is one of the places that always reminds us of the heroic memory of nationalists who There they were subjected to exile and torture. Among them were some of my direct family members", he recalled, quoted by Angop.

This social institution welcomes children at risk, which they later integrate into the education system.

Speaking at the launch, the priest congratulated himself on the occasion, highlighting the book's important contribution to the bibliographical enrichment of the country's history. "This work, of which we should all be proud, invites us to read about the history of our beloved homeland," he said.
