According to a note from the Angolan Basketball Federation (FAB), to which VerAngola had access, the country won with a difference of one point (60-59), placing second in the group table, with seven points.
"Angola beats Rwanda and finishes the group stage in 2nd place (Group A) with seven points, just behind group leader Mali, who conquered eight points", reads the note.
According to the FAB, it was "a very balanced and well-played game, which was only decided in the last few seconds".
"Our boys got the advantage of a point and go ahead in the competition", adds the FAB.
