João Lourenço, in a message sent to his counterpart from São Tomé and Príncipe, Carlos Vila Nova, about the celebrations of another year of anniversary of that Portuguese-speaking country, which this Wednesday marks, states that the date is of great significance for the country.
The head of state highlights the devotion of the Sao Tome people to the achievement of the objectives of building a harmonious society and understanding between all the national living forces and a prosperous country committed to building the well-being of its citizens.
"I want to convey to your Excellency and to the Government of São Tomé and Príncipe our deep interest in working together with a view to deepening relations of solidarity, friendship and bilateral cooperation", concluded João Lourenço in the message.
