The signing ceremony of the protocol took place on Tuesday night, at the Marina Baía Yacht Club, on the island of Luanda, with the presence of four important directors of the Standard Bank Group, William Blackie, Tunde Macaulay, David Veale and Remy Osuagwu.

AutoSueco is a company belonging to the Nors Group and has been in Angola for 30 years, being the official representative of the private Volvo SUV range, with the Volvo XC40, Volvo XC60 and Volvo XC90 models. As part of the protocol, SBA customers will be offered discounts on those models, of 3.5 percent for private customers, and special prices and conditions for companies, according to the size of the leasing for the corporate fleet.

The company is also a representative of the Kohler brand of generators, and offers a 7.5 percent discount on generators with powers between 14.5 kVA and 3,180 kVA, associated with the private leasing product and corporate fleet leasing.

In turn, Automaquinaria, a company that is also part of the Nors Group and has been in Angola for 15 years, is the official representative of the Volvo brand for machinery, where in the scope of the leasing it offers maintenance included for the machines, during the period of credit.

"At Standard Bank, as the largest banking institution in Africa, we have three strategic priorities: transforming the customer experience, executing with excellence and driving value and sustainable growth. It is from these strategic objectives that this partnership arises, whose main purpose is to ensure the best conditions and offers to our customers, whether individuals or companies. This partnership is another step on our path, where we seek to do everything in our power to ensure that we provide our customers with the products, services and solutions that respond to their needs", said William Blackie, Executive Director of Business and Customers Standard Bank commercials.

At Standard Bank, William Blackie is tasked with leveraging the ecosystem to support African small, medium and micro-enterprises (SMEs) with the physical, digital and knowledge capabilities needed to identify opportunities and unlock sustainable growth across the continent.

For Carolina Remísio, Executive Director of Corporate Banking at SBA, "this partnership represents the beginning of a closer relationship between Standard Bank of Angola and the two companies, to present the best value proposition to customers".

"Customers are at the center of our action. Our strategy involves assuming ourselves as a financial services organization focused on the African continent and customer-centric, seeking our positioning to add value to our customers", adds Carolina Remísio.

In addition to the directors of Standard Bank and representatives of Standard Bank of Angola, AutoSueco, Automaquinaria and Volvo, SBA customers and partners also attended the ceremony.
