The Angolan team, guided by the former Portuguese international Filipe Cruz, 51 years old, who became famous in ABC, reached the interval losing only by two goals (17-15), but the Dutch team shot up the scoreboard in the second half.

The team of the Netherlands, more effective in various actions of the game and taking advantage of the offensive mismatch of the Angolan women, who even shot more, broke the initial resistance and ended up winning by nine goals (37-28).

The Angolan Isabel Guialo, with eight goals, was the top scorer of the match, although the Dutch Bo van Wetering, with seven in seven shots, was the most effective, closely followed by her compatriot Lois Abbingh, with six, and Albertina Kassoma, with five.

The Dutch team remains undefeated at the top of Group A with six points and one game ahead of Norway, second with four, while Angola is sixth and last, still without any points, as are South Korea, fifth.

Montenegro, who faced Norway today, follows in third place with two points, the same as the host Japan, in fourth place, who plays South Korea, with an eye on qualifying for the quarterfinals.
