Considered one of the tourist points of the municipality of Tômbwa, in Namibe, Lagoa dos Arcos is a place full of beautiful landscapes.
In 2018, after having gone six years without water due to the drought that was felt in that region, the lagoon recovered its splendour with the return of the waters.
Lagoa do Arco is located on the northern bank of the Curoca River, only 20 kilometres from the sea coast, stretching over a strip of over 10 kilometres.
Here you will also find a rocky canyon composed of sandstones. The site is composed of three lagoons, the middle one being the best known because of the natural arches formed by the sandstones, which eventually gave the site its name.
