The 50-year-old coach has already been introduced to the players and will be guiding the club's next training session. The first training session led by the Angolan will take place at Lousada, with Lito Vidigal guiding Vitória de Setúbal in the last four rounds of the Portuguese Football League.

According to Angop, Lito Vidigal will be able to coach this Wednesday, in the game for the 31st round, where Vitoria de Setubal will face Desportivo das Aves. The aim of Vitoria de Setubal is to break the tide of bad luck that has been suffering: the club has not won any of its last 12 games.

Lito Vidigal had already led Vitoria de Setubal in 2018/19: in the 18 games he was in charge of the team he won five wins, four draws and nine losses, having been replaced by Sandro Mendes.

The Angolan is the fourth coach to take over the Portuguese club this season. Sandro Mendes led the team between the first and eighth round, followed by Albert Meyng (was between the 9th and 11th rounds) and Júlio Velázquez, who led Victory of Setúbal between the 12th and 29th rounds.
