In a statement, the judicial body said that the delivery of the Media Nova companies (newspaper O País, Rádio Mais and TV Zimbo) took place on Thursday, through the National Asset Recovery Service, "because they were constituted with the support and institutional strengthening of the State ".
The companies were owned by generals Leopoldino "Dino" Fragoso do Nascimento, Helder Dias "Kopelipa" and former Angolan vice president and ex-president of Sonangol, Manuel Vicente.
