The mobile brigades "move according to local maps, in coordination with municipal administrations", began by explaining the responsible, in statements to the press.
There are 253 brigades throughout the country "which operate alongside municipal, communal, district, village and church posts, civil society associations, the armed forces and other social entities".
These brigades aim to help strengthen the work of the conservatories, maternity wards and civil and criminal identification posts, he said.
The Government's objective is to eliminate the number of people without ID by 2022. And that goal seems to be already closer to being achieved: according to the tutelage, in Huambo, "coverage of 100 percent of the process of issuing ID was achieved last week, with the installation of the Cachiungo and Chicala Cholohanga Civil and Criminal Identification Posts".
In Bengo, the project reached the municipalities of Bula Atumba, Dembos and Nambuangongo last week.
In the capital, the reinforcement was done recently with computer equipment and new civil registration books - presented last month and which will prevent, for example, "citizens from returning to mobile or conservatory posts to pick up their birth certificates and issue their Identity Cards".
The program is composed of about 1200 brigadistas, said Fernando Fortes, stating that the Ministry of Justice and Human Rights plans to register 12 million citizens by 2022.
