Speaking at the closing of the forum – which was attended by José Lima Massano, Minister of State for Economic Coordination, among others – the Minister of Telecommunications pointed out the fact that the country has digital technological potential, which can help its growth economic.

Quoted by Angop, Mário Oliveira said that, throughout the forum, micro and small companies presented 132 requests for micro-credits, 100 of which were approved, corresponding to financing of more than two million kwanzas.

In his speech he also encouraged businessmen, as well as other organizations, to provide support to young people's entrepreneurial initiatives, such as startups, among others.

He also announced that the next edition of Angotic is scheduled for June next year.

Exhibitors gave the event a positive rating for being a "factor in supporting national economic diversification".

Fátima Almeida, director of BayQi, was one of the exhibitors who was satisfied with the event, which she considered to have been large, bringing together national, African and global technological potential.

From the person responsible's point of view, initiatives of this type should be promoted two to three per year, which would ultimately enable greater interaction and take advantage of the potential of the various participants in the economic ecosystem.

Speaking to Angop, Fátima Almeida praised this year's edition, congratulating the event team. "We've been there since the first edition and every year it gets better and better. This one was spectacular, more exhibitors, bigger space. I just have to say congratulations to the entire Angotic team", she pointed out.

While João Soares, from Cegid Primavera, considered the event's theme ('Digitize, connect and innovate') as "current and contextualized".

The person in charge pointed out the fact that they are "digitizing public and private Angolan companies and connecting them with the outside world", adding that artificial intelligence is bringing innovation and that the sector can be offered solutions that range from micro to large companies.
