João Lourenço travels to South Africa to participate in the investiture of Cyril Ramaphosa

The President of the Republic will travel, this Tuesday, to South Africa, where he will participate in the investiture ceremony of his South African counterpart, Cyril Ramaphosa.

The head of state was invited by the South African authorities to the investiture ceremony of Cyril Ramaphosa, which is scheduled for this Wednesday, in Pretoria (South Africa), according to a video released by CIPRA and seen by VerAngola access.

"For this event, the President of the Republic of Angola, João Lourenço, was invited by the South African authorities, as well as other entities from the region and the world, who is traveling this Tuesday to the city of Pretoria", says the video.

During Wednesday's day, João Lourenço will be present at different moments, returning to the country that same day: "President João Lourenço participates throughout Wednesday's day in the different moments prepared to seal the beginning of the new mandate of President Cyril Ramaphosa and then take the plane back to the country".

Remember that Cyril Ramaphosa was re-elected last Friday for a second term.

After his re-election was announced, João Lourenço, in a message addressed to his South African counterpart, congratulated him and highlighted his "conciliatory role and open to dialogue".
