In a note released by the press services, João Lourenço extends his congratulations to the Russian people and Government and expresses Angola's desire to "continue to strengthen the historical friendly relations that have united the two countries for more than five decades".
For the head of state, "friendly relations between Angola and Russia present prospects for a future in which they can be increasingly deepened, through the implementation of mutually advantageous cooperation projects in areas of common interest".
