According to Angop, the former basketball player was the victim of hanging.
Reggie Moore died in Luanda, having – according to Rádio Nacional de Angola – been found in his house which is located in Maianga.
Using his Facebook page, Belenenses, one of the teams Reggie Moore aligned with, left his "heartfelt condolences".
"To his family, friends, former coaches and former teammates, Belenenses basketball sends heartfelt condolences. Rest in peace, Reggie", reads the publication.
In the publication, the club also recalls the athlete's passage through the emblem in the 2004/2005 season. "The Belenenses basketball section learned of the death of its former athlete Reggie Moore, a North American later naturalized Angolan who played for Belenenses in the unforgettable season of 2004/2005, the debut year of blue basketball in European competitions of the sport", reads in the club's note.
The 2.02 meter winger arrived at the club from Norway, recalls the emblem, which adds: "at Belenenses' service he was considered the most valuable player in the regular phase of the League, integrating together with Miguel Minhava the ideal five of that phase of the League competition".
"The news of his early death brings to mind the many people from Belenenses who in 2004/2005 filled the pavilion, day after day, the great performances of the team and in particular Reggie Moore", says Belenenses.
In addition to his time at Belenenses, Reggie Moore has clubs such as 1.º de Agosto, Petro de Luanda, among others. In addition, he also wore the jersey of the national team in world, continental and olympic competitions.
