"Within the scope of the Reordering of Commerce, the Provincial Government of Luanda has received several complaints and complaints from citizens due to noise pollution caused by cultural and recreational events held in residential areas, creating public health problems and in disobedience to Article n. 22 of Presidential Decree n.º 111/11, of May 19, which regulates the Organization of Shows and Public Entertainment, thus disturbing silence, well-being and norms of good social coexistence", justifies the government provincial.
From now on, he adds, "only activities that have technical and safety conditions will be authorized in closed spaces, in residential areas, in closed spaces, in residential areas, in order to minimize noise pollution".
The GPL also warns that non-compliance with the aforementioned measures will lead to the cancellation of the activity, "in addition to the application of other sanctions provided for in the Regulation of Public Shows and Entertainment".
The note also recalls that only the GPL and the municipal administrations have the competence to issue authorization licenses for the realization of parties at provincial level.
Thus, he concluded with an appeal: "The Provincial Government of Luanda appeals to everyone's understanding and collaboration and encourages citizens to continue to widely denounce all acts of noise pollution", reads the note.
