In the same message, João Lourenço highlighted the importance that Angola attaches to the historical ties of friendship with Russia, expressing interest in "continuing to develop a multifaceted cooperation".
He also praised Russia's achievements in all fields, with emphasis on the field of science and technology "which highlight the great ingenuity of the Russian people and their commitment to the realization of development projects" in the country.
"We have the hope that Russia will know how to overcome, with wisdom, the challenges that History poses, to assume, in peaceful circumstances, the great role that is reserved for it in the concert of nations", exhorts the head of state.
