In a game played in Malagasy territory, the hosts opened the scoring, in the 37th minute, through Loïc Lapoussin, but Gelson Dala, in the 43rd minute, re-established equality for the Angolans, who occupy the second position of Group E, with four points, the same as the leader of Ghana, who obtained the same result against the Central African Republic.

In a match played in Luanda, the Ghanaians took the lead in the 11th minute, through Ajax midfielder Mohammed Kudus, but allowed the opponent to restore equality at the break, at 41, by Karl Namnganda.

Central African Republic and Madagascar, both with one point, occupy third and fourth places in the grouping, respectively.

Angola returns to play on September 18, with a visit to Ghana, and a week later, on the 27th, welcomes the Ghanaians.
