Next Saturday, June 4th, the series “Guest House” will hit national screens. Concerning a national production, the series is scheduled to premiere on DStv's Kwenda Magic channel.

The series will be in the comedy genre and will revolve around Kiki. The young Angolan lived in Portugal, with her family benefiting from a lot of money from Angola, without having studied and spending a lot of time having fun. However, with the money supply cut off and without training, the young woman ends up returning to her country to bet on stand-up comedy and earn money to return to Portugal.

According to Platinaline, the creation of the series has the signature of Hélder Filipe and Lucas Néia.

"The main message of the series is based on the choices we make in life that can really influence our future," said the creator.

Hélder Filipe added that "it is important for the viewer to be able to put himself in the characters' shoes, and have a lot of fun, in addition to taking risks and learning some life lessons".

The cast of the national production – which will consist of three seasons with 52 episodes each – will be starring Cristiana de Belga, José da Costa, Tito Viegas, among others.

In turn, João Ribeiro, director of Kwenda Magic, admitted that "the public is always eager for a good story, that enchants them, characters with whom they can identify, and, consciously or not, share their doubts, anxieties and fantasies, through dramatic art". He also mentioned that "more important than creating new content, is the development of characters that connect with the viewer".

The premiere of "Guest House" is scheduled for 8:30 pm next Saturday.

It should be noted that this is the second national production to be broadcast on this channel. The first was the soap opera "Rio".
