Covid-19: Angola with 150 new cases and three deaths in the last 24 hours

Angola registered, on the 8th of June, 150 new cases of covid-19, three deaths and 39 people recovered, according to the Epidemiological bulletin of the National Directorate of Public Health.

Cases were reported in Luanda (105), Huambo (26), Huíla (8), Zaire (4), Cuando Cubango (3), Benguela (2), Malanje and Uíje, with one case each.

The ages range from one month to 97 years, with 75 males and 75 females.

During this period, three deaths were reported (one male and two female), aged between 53 and 71, two in Huambo and one in Luanda.

However, 39 people aged between seven and 73 were recovered, 16 in Zaire, 13 in Luanda, eight in Huambo and two in Benguela.

The laboratories processed 2714 samples by RT PCR for a cumulative total of 605,158 samples.

Since the beginning of the pandemic Angola has accounted for 36,004 cases, 29,368 recovered patients and 5833 in the active phase of the disease, of which ten critical and 27 serious.

There are also 803 deaths and 203 hospitalized patients and 146 people are in institutional quarantine.
