Portugal Day marked with supply of sanitary equipment and medicines

The Portuguese embassy in Angola will offer, on Wednesday, to the Angolan authorities, a quantity of personal health protection equipment and medicines, as part of the celebration of Portugal Day.

According to a note from the Portuguese embassy, the delivery of the material is an "expression of the Portuguese people's gratitude towards the country that welcomes them so well".

The symbolic act, which will take place at the Portuguese School, with the presence of the Portuguese ambassador, Pedro Pessoa and Costa, takes place in the difficult moment that the country is going through, highlighted the note, different from other years, in which the Portuguese community joins to celebrate .

This initiative, pointed out the document, results from the combined effort of a wide range of Portuguese and Portuguese-Angolan companies present in the Angolan market, in the most diverse sectors of economic activity.
