According to Novo Jornal, passengers will have to pay 185,500 kwanzas to perform the tests at LMC. No appointment is required to perform the tests, and the result is known within 72 hours.
Leonardo Inocêncio, Secretary of State for the Hospital Area, explained that, for now, only the LMC has all the necessary material to perform the test.
Without indicating if the public entities will perform these tests, Leonardo Inocêncio explained that there are other private clinics that have the devices, but due to lack of some reagents and substances they cannot perform the test.
"Nobody knows if the others have already imported" these materials, he said, stating that for now only the CML is able to perform the tests. However, he did not rule out the possibility that, in the future, there will be more entities to perform the test.
Novo Jornal also said that the Multiperfil Clinic already has the tests ready, but that it does not yet have a date to start the testing process.
