According to the Health Minister, Silvia Lutucuta, quoted by Angop, after two INIS employees tested positive to covid-19, the average number of tests per day dropped to 400.
The institute was disinfected and opens its doors again this Tuesday, reinforcing again the testing.
Besides INIS, the laboratories of the National Institute for the Fight against AIDS, the Military Hospital and the Hope Hospital are also carrying out tests, with each one managing to process around 180 samples per day.
Silvia Lutucuta also took the opportunity to ask the population to continue to comply with the prevention and protection measures.
The head of the Health Department also spoke about the flights: "At the moment, only humanitarian flights will be carried out, giving priority to neighbouring countries, followed by Zambia, South Africa and Turkey, regions that are home to small and vulnerable groups".
