The statesman announced that within a short time, more or less three to four months, the Calumbo unit will be ready, for Angola to be "in conditions to be able to face any epidemic, which, unfortunately, could arise at any time".
"This unit was adapted in a very short time, there is another unit that will be put at the service of the population very soon, there next to the Luanda Psychiatric Hospital, an annex of the Luanda Psychiatric Hospital", reinforced the President.
According to the President, the country will also count on two other field hospitals, which will be set up in the provinces of Cabinda and Lunda Norte, with a view to creating more field hospitals, "above all to stop the possibility of disease penetration by our borders ". The Campaign Hospital of the Special Economic Zone has an area for light, asymptomatic and moderate patients, as well as an area for critically ill patients, in need of ventilation support, as well as a campaign operating room and a helipad.
