According to a statement from the CFL, the train will depart from Musseques station (Luanda) at 6:00 am on Thursday, serving the stations of Zenza do Itombe, Ndalawi (Beira Alta), Múria and Luinha, and will return from Luinha on Friday at 7:00 am.
In March, at least 16 people died in this Cuanza Norte area in a single weekend, leading authorities to suspend trains to prevent the spread of the disease.
The sanitary cordon left Luinha, a rural location about 150 kilometers from Luanda, whose main means of connection to the capital was the railway service, practically isolated.
Angola has recorded 18,420 cases of cholera and 586 deaths since January 7, when the disease was reported, which is spread across 17 of the country's 21 provinces.
