At the meeting, Zahira Virani said that the signature "of the aforementioned legal instruments demonstrate Angola's commitment to multilateralism, in which the United Nations is the largest representation".

The guardianship states that the agreements aim to facilitate the life, movement and stay of UN employees in the country, demonstrating the "engagement of the Angolan Government in cooperation with the global political organization".

According to the person responsible, the gesture by the Government of Angola expresses "a clear sign of appreciation for the work of the United Nations, its employees, technicians and specialists", especially with the intention of coming to the country "to work together, in order to meet common goals, which are sustainable development, Agenda 2030 and others".

Furthermore, the hearing also served to review matters relating to the Cooperation Framework between Angola and the UN for Sustainable Development 2024-2028.

"The project prioritizes the areas of health, education, gender equality, renewable energy, environmental protection, inclusive economic development and effective governance", adds the note, which also says that, in addition, it also addresses "four key areas of intervention", namely "human development, democratic governance and human rights, economic diversification and food systems, as well as climate resilience and sustainable management of natural resources through effective partnerships as a facilitator for achieving results".

The United Nations Information Center in Angola was also another topic covered. According to the document, the installation of this center aims to meet the needs of Portuguese-speaking African Countries (PALOP).
