Petro de Luanda wins and is one point away from revalidating Girabola's title

Petro de Luanda, coached by Portuguese Alexandre Santos, beat Desportivo da Huila, led by Paulo Torres, by 2-1, and is on the point of revalidating the national football title, in a delayed game of the 20th round.

In a match played this Wednesday in the province of Huila, Gleison, in the 53rd minute, and Megue, in the 78th minute, scored Petro's goals, while Adó Pena, in the 79th minute, scored for Desportivo.

The national champions, who are one point away from revalidating the Girabola title, reached 66 points, six more than their arch-rivals 1.º de Agosto, who are second, two days from the end of the championship.

Brazilian striker Tiago Azulão (Petro de Luanda) leads the list of top scorers in the league, with 19 goals, followed by Kaporal (Académica do Lobito), with 15.
