1st Euro-African Forum on Green Hydrogen

From the 31st of May to the 2nd of June, the German Ministry of Foreign Affairs in partnership with the Government of Angola will hold the 1st Euro-African Forum on Green Hydrogen.

The event will take place at the Intercontinental Hotel, in Luanda, between 9 am and 5 pm.

The Minister of Energy and Water, João Baptista Borges, the Minister of Mineral Resources, Oil and Gas, Diamantino Azevedo, the Minister of State of the German Federal Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Katja Keul, the ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany in Angola, Stefan Traumann, and the deputy minister of South Africa, Bernice Swarts, along with state and private entities linked to policies and production of green hydrogen such as GAUFF Engineering, SASSCAL, among others.

Through the event - which is a direct continuation of the Green Hydrogen Symposium that took place last year in Luanda - it will be possible to present solutions for the creation and development of hydrogen industries, as well as explore its incorporation into the energy matrix and the creation of models of business to the market, while exploring synergies in the sector.

The event is aimed specifically at the governments, industry and academia of the three countries in evidence, namely Angola, Namibia and South Africa. In addition, high-level representatives from other African countries and Europe will also be invited.
