From 10 to 12 May, the 56th Meeting of the Committee of Central Bank Governors (CCBG) of the Southern African Development Community will take place.
Thus, the National Bank of Angola will host, on the said date, in Luanda, the meeting that foresees, in a global way, to carry out the analysis of the Financial System of the SADC Region, with particular focus on payment systems, regulation and bank supervision, clearing and settlement, repatriation of banknotes and coins, impact of exchange controls on cross-border flows of goods, services and capital, as well as exchanges in staff training.
In addition, the initiatives of the aforementioned committee also envisage the creation of a database of monetary and financial statistics, an information bank on the structures and policies of central banks and financial markets in SADC countries.
