Unitel extends 4G signal to Cunene province

In April, Unitel extended 4G voice and data services to the locality of Cahama, Cunene province.

3G and 4G services are available in 342 locations across the country, allowing for the transmission of Voice and Data (browsing websites, downloading and using online applications more quickly).

4G already covers the capitals of Angola's 18 provinces, and has a deployment of 34.1 percent in municipalities and 15.2 percent in communes, according to a statement from the operator sent to VerAngola.

Recently, Unitel has extended these services to the localities of Santa Clara, Cunene province, Alto Hama, Chipipa, Cachiungo and Calenga, Huambo province. Also to Tômbwa, Namibe province, Songo, Uíge province, Waku Kungo and Libolo, Kwanza Sul province, Lucala and Cambambe, Kwanza Norte province and Dinge, Cabinda province.

With more than 14 thousand kilometers of optical fiber, Unitel says that it has been a "true engine of technological development by providing a network capable of supporting the transmission of Voice and Data calls with quality, reliability and transmission speed".
