At issue is the fact that the stadiums in the Central African Republic have not been approved by CAF for international matches, due to their poor state of conservation, according to the vice-president of the Angolan Football Federation, José Carlos Miguel.
The official said that the request of the Football Federation of CAR, for the game to be held in Luanda, was accepted by the national football body.
The Angolan team is part of the same group, coached by Portuguese coach Pedro Gonçalves, which debuts against the same Central African Republic on 1 June, at the same sports venue, in Luanda, and five days later plays against Madagascar, in stronghold of this. In the third round, they face Ghana.
