Written by Margarida Cardoso, the documentary is the result of a long investigation. According to Visão magazine, during this process, the director uncovered several "wounds to heal" in the country's history.
In the film, it is intended to document about Sita Valles, an anti-fascist fighter who was mysteriously murdered during the civil war, but also to go beyond biography and address the context of the surrounding universe, writes Visão.
After the cinema, the documentary is heading to television screens this Thursday.
It should be noted that Margarida Cardoso has devoted part of her career to researching the colonial and post-colonial era in Portuguese-speaking African countries.
