Serbia interested in investing in Angolas energy, water, agriculture and education sectors

Serbia has shown interest in investing in the energy, water, agriculture and education sectors in Angola. The intention was expressed Wednesday by Milos Perisic, Serbian ambassador accredited in Angola, during a visit to the province of Bengo.

The diplomat said that this year a business forum would be held between Serbian companies and companies from Bengo province to discuss possible future investments.

Cited by Angop, Milos Perisic stressed the potential of Bengo province and indicated that bilateral relations between his country and Angola are more than four decades old, noting that some companies are already operating in the areas of agriculture and food production.

The ambassador also made an invitation to the governor of Bengo, Mara Quiosa. The diplomat invited her to visit Serbia, in September, indicating that he will appeal to the Serbian businessmen to invest in Angola.

Mara Quiosa was pleased with the interest shown by the Serbian executive in wanting to invest in the province.

The governor said that this European country is experienced in the area of public administration, informing that soon the Dande municipality and some Serbian municipalities may sign a twinning agreement.

During his trip to Beno, the Serbian ambassador visited the Public Company of Waters of Bengo, the farm TuriAgro and the company Aceria de Angola.
