Sodiam holds a third diamond auction. Bidding amounts may reach 30 million dollars

Sodiam, a state-owned diamond trading company, will hold an auction of rough diamonds in Luanda. This will be the third time that the company will sell national stones in this format.

:

According to a statement sent to VerAngola, the sale will include a selection of exceptional 'Special Stones' from the following mines: Catoca, Luele, Lulo and Uari. In addition, a varied run-of-mine batch will also be offered in all sizes of production of the highly anticipated Luele kimberlite from the Luaxe region.

The total estimated bid amount is 27 to 30 million dollars.

The evaluation sessions are scheduled to take place between 9 and 23 June at Sodiam's premises in Luanda. The submission of proposals will end on June 24 at 11:00 am.

Since proposals must be submitted exclusively electronically - through the Sodiam platform - non-registered companies wishing to participate in the sale are invited to register at www.sodiamsales.com. A detailed participation package will be provided to participants later.

Appointments for viewing can be made at: booking@sodiamsales.com.

The visa application for Angola can be made at the nearest Angolan Consulate or at https://www.sme.gov.ao/SolicitarVisto.

Note that participants in the contest will not have to go through a mandatory quarantine upon arrival if they stay in Luanda for up to 72 hours.
